Asian pottery features high fired stoneware pots, and glazed pots with distinctive jewel-like coloring from deep moss greens to beautiful dark oxblood red, and antique crackle in many colors.  It is frost-proof and extremely resilient.  The clay used in the production of this pottery is some of the purest in the world, which allows the clay to be fired at a very high temperature, resulting in great strength.
